Dear Rui,
Thank you for your question. Welcome to the DC-ISSS and glad that you can join.
The first step is to register on the IGF website. This allows you to join the DC-ISSS email list, which will be the main feature for future group communication. This is the link to the IGF registration website:
The general workplan and goals of the DC-ISSS can be found here:
This page includes a link to the DC-ISSS mailing list registration.
At the IGF the goals and first steps for three working groups will be determined, as mentioned in the email and blogpost. To have influence over the roadmap it is important to participate in the workshop on 4 November. This is possible through the same registration
as in the above. Input is gathered which will be presented on at the formal launch of the DC on 6 November.
After the launch the actual work starts in the Working Group(s) of preference, depending on the decisions made next week. This may, and I'm only thinking out loud here, contain: identify current best practices or make them should they not exist, gather experts
to identify crucial parts that this a best practice needs to contain, identify and bring in absent experts from other stakeholder groups that are important for deployment, organise conferences for dissemination, training to absent stakeholders, etc. Of course
this all depends on decisions yet to be made.
I hope this covers your question and looking forward to welcoming you in one of the Working Group and sessions.
All the best,
Wout

Dear Wout
Yes, I want collaborate with you in these projects.
What is the next step?
Thank you
Dear colleagues,
Following my request to you last summer, to participate in a questionnaire on the deployment of Internet standards and ICT best practices, I have written a post on the outcomes and the next steps to be taken in the DC-ISSS. You find the link to the post attached.
The DC-ISSS is looking for experts interested to work with us on either of the three topics that have been given priority unanimously by those currently participating already:
Procurement and business case;
Education curricula;
Security by design IoT.
Please let me know should you have any questions or would like to know more. Those interested can join the DC-ISSS through the website of the Internet Governance Forum (IGF).
Kind regards,
Wout de Natris
