Dear Chris, Your objection to the current transfer policy as accepted by the RIPE community is noted, again. However, I don't think it relates to this policy proposal either, as this merely removes an unintended consequence introduced by the run out fairly policy. The current text of the transfer policy remains unchanged and is therefore out of scope for this proposal. If you feel strongly about changing (or removing, for that matter) the current transfer policy in another way, I suggest you launch a separate policy proposal to do just that. i believe the current policy allowing intra-rir-transfers from lir to lir under identical provisions as regular allocations is just and the way to go.
as mentioned before, i also don't regard the attempts to pirate the ip-commons as legitimiate, and this proposal's only effect seems to be to make the anticipated 'owned-ip-product' more attractive than the 'competing product'.
i formally voice strong and sustained opposition.
