this wasn't a comment about IXPs: many smaller organisations have mikrotiks running with bgp on service provider networks, but are unable to run BGP LC because of lack of support. If you run a Mikrotik at an IXP, there are a number of important caveats to be aware of, BGP LC being one. Nick
