End Users are assigned an End Site assignment from their LIR or ISP. The size of the assignment is a local decision for the LIR or ISP to make, using a minimum value of a /64 (only one subnet is anticipated for the End Site).
I have a general question: If the allocation is less than /64, lets say 10 addresses, can I allocate IPv6 addresses from our /64 pool instead of allocating a /64 in the RIPE DB to the customer? Or do I have to allocate a /64 in the DB and then give the customer the 10 addresses? I guess I can assign a /64 to the customer in the DB anyway, but the customer will never get the entire /64, only the 10 addresses.
