This list is here to decide on the rules for handling out numbers to members of the RIPE NCC and to end users in the RIPE service region (= "address policy"). Address policy for IPv4 addresses, for IPv6 addresses, and for AS numbers is on-topic - and all discussions that have direct implications on policy. It is *NOT* the right place to discuss whether IPv4 or IPv6 is "better". Feel free to voice anything that you concern relevant to *address policy* - but the question or not "IPv6 sucks because you don't want to use DNS" is completely irrelevant to the rules of responsible stewardship for limited resources.
