My guess is that the accelerated consumption we saw at the end of the APNIC pool was a 'run on the bank' with folks requesting more space than they actually needed. If true, we'll soon see an uptick in requests at the various RIRs out of the AP region by the larger players (i.e., the ones able to establish legal presence in the respective regions). Unless, of course, those folks are able to have their requirements met via the market. It will be ... interesting to watch. Regards, -drc
