Hi all,

I wanted to understand the current status of Inter-RIR transfers in the RIPE region.

The website for the policy being proposed: http://www.ripe.net/ripe/policies/proposals/2012-02

States that the current phase is: "Review Phase: Awaiting Decision from Working Group Chair", but that the current phase ends on 17 April 2013 - over a year ago.

The 'inter-RIR transfers' section of http://www.ripe.net/lir-services/resource-management/ipv4-transfers refers back to the policy above.

Given that RIPE has run out of resources, is it really not allowing other RIR's with a conditional policy like ARIN (https://www.arin.net/resources/request/transfers_8_4.html) not to transfer into the region?

APNIC does not have this restriction, but should have the same condition if an RIR doesn't have a reciprocal policy in place.

Thoughts?
