I took the task to start a short opinion poll on the list.
Amongst the pros is that co-chairs by definition are mutual stand-ins to each other - which is a major design principle anyway.
Amongst the cons is the idea that this TF has a rather short term best-before-date anyway - so there might not be an urgent need to have a co-chair to ensure mission accomplishment.
My point of view is that although I do not believe that a co-chair is conditio sine qua non, I'd feel slightly better if there would be one.
And if even only to do the chairing in case William needs to be absent from a call for whatever reason.
